Your Responsibilities

As a Laundry/Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and guest comfort. This position requires precision, discretion, and a strong attention to detail in both laundry operations and housekeeping services.

Key Responsibilities

Laundry Duties

• Handle hotel uniforms and guest linen with care and professionalism.
• Operate laundry machinery and equipment in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations.
• Perform ironing, steaming, folding, and hand-finishing of textiles.
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and take appropriate action.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of clean laundry to the appropriate areas or directly to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and orderliness in the laundry area.

Housekeeping Duties

• Create a welcoming and impeccable first impression for guests.
• Prepare and check guest rooms to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
• Use cleaning products and equipment responsibly; report any shortages promptly.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support other departments as needed.

What we expect

Experince

• Previous experience in housekeeping, ideally in the luxury hotel industry.
• Minimum 1 year of professional press ironing experience in a 5-star hotel setting.

Skills & Qualities

• Strong eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and order.
• Reliable, structured, and independent work ethic.
• Flexibility and availability to work weekends and public holidays.
• Positive, friendly, and professional demeanour towards guests and team members.
• Ability to perform under pressure and work well in a team.
• Basic technical understanding of laundry machinery is an asset.

Language

• Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
• EU passport is required.
