About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Food & Beverage Department in Zurich, the Chef de Rang Lounge is responsible for supporting the bar and brasserie team to always provide impeccable service to guests. The Chef de Rang Lounge reports to the Bar Supervisor and Restaurant Manager.
As Chef de Rang Lounge, we expect from you:
A completed vocational training in the hotel or catering industry
First computer skills, knowledge of the Infrasys cash register system and the SevenRooms booking system would be advantageous
Communicative skills - guests will contact you with complaints as well as positive feedback
Open-mindedness and teamwork skills
Excellent manners and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure - your position will include weekend and holiday shifts
Very good knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
Successful applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland
