Introduction

For the upcoming Winter Season 2027, we are looking for a motivated Chef de Partie for our restaurant “1818 Eat & Drink”!

Your main tasks

• Food Preparation & Production
• Produce mise en place according to daily menus and production requirements.
• Prepare components for restaurant service, room service and special events.
• Ensure sufficient mise en place is available before and during service.
• Coordinate with other kitchen sections.
• Maintain smooth workflow and communication within the kitchen brigade.
• Guide and support Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs assigned to the section.
• Monitor quality, timing, and presentation during service.
• Ensure products are replenished efficiently.
• Communicate with Sous Chef and kitchen brigade regarding service requirements.
• Comply with all HACCP regulations and food safety standards.
• Monitor and record temperatures were required.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and date marking of all products.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages promptly.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control procedures.
• Clean cooking equipment, utensils, and preparation areas after use.
• Ensure compliance with daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Monitor cleanliness standards within the section.

Your profile

• Completed professional training and several years of work experience in Switzerland or abroad
• Fluent in English and good knowledge of German and French
• Creative personality with a well-groomed appearance
• Ability to work independently and strong interpersonal skills
• Resilient and flexible
