About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich, the Meeting Room AV Support Assistant is responsible for supporting the setup and operation of audio visual equipment for meetings and events, assisting guests with technical requirements, and ensuring the smooth execution of all conference and meeting room activities. The Meeting Room AV Support Assistant reports to the IT Manager.

As a Meeting Room AV Support Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:  

• Set up meeting room audio visual equipment before events.
• Assist guests with presentations, displays, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
• Remain on-site during meetings when requested to provide immediate support.
• Troubleshoot basic AV and connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with hotel staff to ensure meeting rooms are ready for guests.
• Manage and maintain portable AV equipment.
• Test equipment before meetings and report any issues.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to guests and presenters.

As a Meeting Room AV Support Assistant, we expect from you:
