Le Grand Bellevue is considered one of the most traditional and oldest luxury hotels in Gstaad. It combines the luxury and sophistication of a grand hotel with the charming atmosphere of a cozy country house.

We are looking for a Sommelier for the summer season 2025

Your Tasks

• Wine and food pairing, coordination on dishes and menus in collaboration with the sommelier and executive chef
• Storing and caring for the finest bottles
• Wine inventory management
• Hospitable and competent advice for our guests
• Organization and implementation of wine tastings
• Training of service personnel

Your Profile

• Skillful and sensitive host
• Restaurant specialist and further training as a sommelier/ière, several years of professional experience in the luxury hotel industry and upscale gastronomy
• Knowledge and appreciation of wines from Switzerland 
• Fluent in German, French and English
• Well-groomed manners with a good portion of warmth, flexibility, sense of responsibility, confident demeanor, attention to detail
• Guest-oriented, professional work and sales skills
