The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom.

 

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich within the Sales Department, the Sales Executive provides administrative support to the Sales Team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient coordination. The Sales Executive reports to the Director of Sales.

As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee the efficient administration and operational processes within the Sales & Marketing department, ensuring effective communication across the team.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to assess and evaluate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify and assess corporate contract requests (RFPs).
  • Conduct property tours for prospective clients and partners.
  • Maintain comprehensive client files and ensure timely updates to all systems, including price lists, proposal forms, menus, and other essential documents.
  • Develop and present statistics, reports, and presentations to support sales and marketing initiatives.

As Sales Executive, we expect from you:

  • Completed vocational training in the hospitality industry or relevant specialized studies
  • Previous experience in Sales is required for this role
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment would be an advantage
  • Must be excellent in using computer and well versed in all computer applications
  • Charming and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills for both external and internal customers
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude and good communicator
  • Effective time management, communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
  • The successful candidate must already be eligible to work in Switzerland
