As Head Sommelier (m/f/d), you will take charge of creating exceptional wine experiences for our discerning guests and contribute significantly to the success of our establishment.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to create and update wine and spirits menus in perfect harmony with our culinary concepts and outlet designs.
- The wine cellar is your stage: organize and manage it with dedication, ensuring optimal storage conditions.
- Be a passionate host, inspiring our guests with expert guidance on the perfect wine pairings—whether at banquets, events, or in the restaurant.
- Work closely with our F&B and purchasing teams to actively shape the composition of the wine and spirits assortment, including the Master Wine Card.
- Develop innovative concepts for integrating wines and spirits into our menus and events to create unique experiences.
- With your trained eye and expertise, ensure the highest hygiene standards and guarantee the smooth provisioning of wines across all areas.
This is you
- A completed education in hospitality or gastronomy, ideally supplemented by sommelier training (WSET Level 3) or an equivalent qualification.
- Several years of experience in upscale gastronomy and in-depth knowledge of wines and spirits.
- A passion for wine and spirits combined with excellent communication skills and a strong guest orientation.
- Team spirit, flexibility, and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Native-level German proficiency, along with strong English and Italian language skills.
