Your tasks

Chef de Partie Responsibilities

As a Chef de Partie, you will play an important role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for our international boarding community. Working in a modern, professional kitchen, you will help prepare approximately 900 freshly made meals each day for students, staff and guests. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a highly respected institution while working alongside an experienced and supportive culinary team.

In this role, you will:

• Take ownership of your designated section, ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation and service.
• Contribute to the daily production of approximately 900 fresh, high-quality meals.
• Work across different kitchen sections as a Chef Tournant, broadening your culinary knowledge and experience.
• Support the pastry section under the guidance of the Head Chef when required.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an efficient, professional and welcoming dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Experience in high-end kitchens.
• Experience in catering and high-volume food production.
• Knowledge of international cuisine and pastry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, hardworking attitude.
• A commitment to the values and standards of Institut auf dem Rosenberg.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA).
