As Chef de Rang – Room Service, you will play a key role in delivering a seamless in-room dining experience that reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing attentive, personalised and professional room service to our guests
- Taking orders accurately and coordinating efficiently with the kitchen team
- Serving food and beverages in guest rooms, including table-side preparation when required
- Presenting menus and offering knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage selections
- Preparing service mise en place and ensuring all opening and closing duties are completed to the highest standard
- Maintaining service equipment and ensuring its proper handling, cleanliness and functionality
- Ensuring full compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards throughout all service operations
This is you
- A completed education in hospitality, hotel management or gastronomy
- Several years of experience in a premium service environment, ideally within luxury hotels or fine dining establishments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach
- A professional, discreet and well-groomed appearance
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
- Sound knowledge of food service, wine and beverage pairing, and table-side presentation techniques
- The ability to remain composed and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in German, English and Italian; additional languages are considered an advantage
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
