Your tasks

• Welcome guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
• Manage and coordinate reservations received by phone, online platforms, and walk-in guests.
• Monitor restaurant capacity and communicate accurate wait times during busy periods.
• Coordinate table assignments and server sections to ensure efficient service flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the service team to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and waiting area at all times.
• Ensure front-of-house materials and supplies are adequately stocked and presented.

Your profile

• Confident language skills in German, English, and French
• Friendliness, helpfulness, reliability, and punctuality
• Quick and flexible actions combined with pleasant manners
• A discreet, attentive, understanding, resilient, and honest personality
• Excellent interaction with guests and locals, along with good general knowledge
• Good knowledge of Zermatt, the region, Valais, and Switzerland is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional, and welcoming attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.
