To strengthen our small housekeeping team, we are looking for a

Deputy Head Housekeeper (m/f/d)

who shares our passion for detail, discretion, and warm hospitality. In this role, you will support the Head Housekeeper in leading and coordinating our housekeeping team, ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the hotel, and step in as the team's point of contact whenever needed. Your role

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas yourself to the highest standard, alongside the team
• Support the Head Housekeeper in leading, organizing, and scheduling the housekeeping team
• Step in for the Head Housekeeper during absences, ensuring smooth daily operations
• Conduct quality checks of guest rooms and public areas to maintain our high standards
• Train and guide new or junior housekeeping staff
• Ensure a cozy, spotless, and well-prepared environment for our guests
• Manage linen, amenities, and supplies, including inventory and ordering
• Report and follow up on technical issues or damages with the team
• Coordinate closely with reception and the wider hotel team
• Support our partner businesses, Harry's Bar and Bahnhof Hotel

What you bring

• Experience in housekeeping; prior experience in a supervisory or deputy role, or in a similar boutique/hospitality environment, is a strong advantage
• A careful, reliable, and independent way of working, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to guide and motivate a small team
• A positive attitude, hands-on mentality, and team spirit
• Physical stamina, as the role combines hands-on cleaning with coordination tasks
• Basic knowledge of English (German is a plus)
• Own accommodation in Zermatt is an advantage
