Introduction

Beaumier will open it's first 5* hotel in Switzerland in the Autumn of 2024, as part of its global expansion.

The Grand Hotel Belvedere in Wengen is a 5*- Lifestyle hotel existing of two historical buildings, with 90 rooms and suites, 2 restaurants and a Spa.

We are offering an amazing opportunity to be part of the Pre-Opening Team, enhance your skillset , make your mark  and have a lot of fun while preparing the hotel for the upcoming opening!

Your tasks

  • Welcoming and assisting guests upon arrival and throughout their stay to ensure a warm and professional first impression

  • Efficient handling of check-ins and check-outs using the hotel property management system (PMS)

  • Answering guest inquiries and providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and transportation options

  • Managing reservations and coordinating room assignments in collaboration with the housekeeping and reservations team

  • Accurate and timely processing of payments and billing.

  • Professional and prompt handling of guest complaints or concerns to ensure guest satisfaction

  • Effective communication with all departments to ensure smooth operations and an outstanding guest experience

  • Ensuring a consistently clean and welcoming reception area

  • Supporting administrative tasks such as creating arrival lists, handling guest correspondence, and maintaining guest profiles

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the hotel industry or a comparable qualification desirable

  • Experience at the front desk or in guest services is an advantage

  • Friendly, professional, and service-oriented demeanor

  • Very good English skills; additional language skills (e.g., German) are an advantage

  • Confident handling of common hotel software

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team

  • High level of responsibility and reliability

  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays

  • Well-groomed appearance and good manners

  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful situations and during high guest volume
